That has to be one of the worst cover versions of a great song I've heard. Instead of the big Spector-like production and the amazingly great vocals of the Walker Brothers' original, that version sounds like Frankie Avalon on Valium...

I would bet the average person or even someone who calls themselves a Beatles "fan" knows this one.
YouTube - The Beatles - Piggies. But it has always been one of my favorites.

YouTube - pink floyd astronomy domine is one of the best Pink Floyd songs ever and is also relatively unknown. All most people know is stuff from the Post Barrett days.

For Pink Floyd I'd nominate "Dogs" (known by PF fans but not generally)

Yeah...most of those are at least a little noticeable but didnt get as much playtime as some of their other songs, but should have IMO.

What about bands that arent really popular?
Old Crow Medicine Show (look up Wagon Wheel...the girls usually love it)

I used to have the 45. It was by Joe Walsh, although the Eagles played on it.

If everything the Eagles played on is an Eagles record, then would Rick Nelson's early '70s material like "Garden Party" also be considered to be by the Eagles?
