Beautiful country, mountians of heaven
The glistening rivers are twisting away
Beautiful givers are summers white kisses
Only for winter we want you to say

Oh I will lay me down on the soft solid ground
Of this England

Beautiful country, meadows of patchwork
You go to my senses, you are part of me
As my mind wanders across your horizon
A sign at the doorway to eternity

:stable boy takes me to the music building by horse carriage.. drags my digeridoo on wheels behind me... glad to see an elevator in this place!:

:finally on the floor MMC and the others have decided to camp out on... enters the room as Jim rushes out, talking about praying at a tree... shuffles over to where MMC lays sleeping... grunts in satisfaction as I look him over... then turns and unpacks the digeridoo:

Yep, it's time to bend space...

Desertsun: Illusion's Beautiful Country - How can ya not like that? Knowing a bit of the back story re. Keith Relf makes it all the more meaningful for me. Eloquent. If their only two albums ever made it stateside back in '76 & '77, I'm unaware of it. That's an area that HH would have a better take on. And thanks for the shout RareWonder, I appreciate the heads up.

Really sorry I've been absent from this place all year. I've been trying to keep a foot in the door, though, by posting once a day over on the baseball forum. I see a lot of new names here along with some of the old. Now, I feel kinda like a fish out of water. It's been a weird year for me. Lost my job in December and have only found a few temporary things with pay. And if I can find the tune I'm thinking of on Youtube, I'll post it here and now. From The Beachboys' Surfs Up LP that came out in 1971.

Ah... Here it is.

And another from the same album. This one reminds me of autumn being just around the corner. No idea what's up with the software, but the link does work.
