beach lover 2, lot's of advise given for where there are gated commuinties, there are many that you will never see driving down the main roads and even off secondary roads.

You said NMB/MB area, well that covers about 40 miles and if you continue 20 miles south you now have covered what is called the Grand Strand and each area has it's appeal as well as within each area there are pockets that a lot of folks never find out about, even those that live here.

I'll give you the best advise you will ever hear about moving here, ready, rent for a year before buying, this way you can get a better feel for the different areas and what they offer, I have talked to so many folks who have moved here over the years and ended up not happy with their decision.

That is very good advice Gary, right now we are in NC doing just that. Keeping our options open, looking at different areas Thanks!
