I always see blurbs about this or that celebrity that lives in the Nashville area. Have you seen anyone famous walking/driving around town, at a restaurant, shopping, etc? Go ahead and name drop!

It's not so uncommon to see one of the country music stars, so I'll mention one I saw a few years ago when he was here filming The Green Mile: Tom Hanks. And one I knew personally before he became a big star: Keith Urban.

My husband travels a lot and sees a celebrity every time he's at the airport. I have however sat next to LeeAnne Rhimes THREE times at a restaurant...the girl must eat out a lot.

I remember seeing one Aaron Tippin (I believe that's his name) downtown. I don't follow country music, so I didn't know who it was until someone I was with pointed it out. I did recognize the mustache though.

Vince Gill working out at my gym
Travis Tritt at a restaurant
Kelly Pickler at Cracker Barrel, ha
Melinda Doolittle at Jason's Deli
Tom Wopat at Houston's
Joe Diffie at a restaurant

That's about all the "random" sightings...I saw a LOT of celebrities when I went to the Planet Hollywood opening here, that was cool...Bruce Willis sang onstage with his band.

Who doesn't have a band? Trace Atkins lives near me so I see him quite a bit, Naomi Judd is always at The Factory at Franklin (I've seen her there at least twice) and I literally ran into Dolly Parton at Zola one night. I used to work for a label and my husband wrote for a big publisher in town so we know our share.

No wonder she's on the cover of some magazine diet issue this month . . .
