Sumner County is cheap compared to Florida. You can get a nice house very resonable off Long Hollow Pike if you look. Yes, there are very big expensive houses and there are cheaper ones but they are all much cheaper then Florida.

If you are looking for acreage, I would check out White House, Cottontown, or Greenbrier. You are not going to find any acreage in Hendersonville.

What about Christiana? You can get reasonably priced acreage and come to Murfreesboro, which is minutes away. We have 3 Publix's with a 4 to come next year. Panera is here as well as two malls.

Never heard of Christiana. That sounds interesting to me, too. How close is it to Murfreesb? Will go check it out on Mapquest -have you lived there long? Enjoy it?

It depends on where in Christiana you live. I would say 10 to 20 minutes. I have a friend who lives on 50 acres there. She works in Murfreesboro. She is pretty far out in Christiana too. I think it's worth a look. You can be close enough to everything and still have your land. I have live in Murfreesboro not Christiana. I love the boro. It has everything I need here. It's a much more relaxed lifestyle compared to FL. I have not regretted my move at all. Nice down to earth and friendly people here.

Agreed, during chit chat with a dental hygenist, she said her family got exactly what they wanted in Greenbrier. Space, nice house, and they love it there.
