Welcome back, Country! I barely know you & I missed your posts.
While Rosh Hashana is a feast day, Yom Kippur is a fast day. It's one of the two days of the year that are full-day fasts: from sundown to sundown. L'Shana tovah.
I just heard from my DH - he's up in Greenville at the moment. He and his brother went out to Mount Monadnock this afternoon (they like to hike)... the guard told them that the White Dot trail was the quickest/shortest... so they went up that one! Well, halfway. It started to get dark so they didn't get up any higher. Funny guard. I found it easier to go up the White Cross and down the White Dot - tricky enough climbing the boulders and the talus slope without having to climb up.
When is the next trip to NH. I enjoyed our last get together in Littleton. Why not come a little further north ? Maybe do a little hunting ?
