I was in NJ today for the 1st time in monthes and was surprised to see gas prices the same as in Philly more or less. Did Gov Christe sneak in a gas tax hike when I wasn't looking?

I don't know what's going on but prices have really jumped up just in the last week. I paid 2.41 less than a week ago. Same station today was 2.59.

When I was back in South Jersey last month I noticed that gas wasn't much of a deal. I paid the same price at a WaWa in Petersburg VA that I paid in Pitman. Cherry Hill was 5 cents cheaper, which was weird.

Yeah, I have no idea what is going on, gas shot up about .15+ cents in the course of a week or so across the board.

Yeah, it's into the 2.60's now.

Speaking of gas. What do you think about a station attendant giving your debit card to the wrong person. Man, was I fuming.

That would **** me off. I usually ask for my card back right away after they swipe it.

Petersburg VA is one of the cheapest places for gas. South Jersey is still 20 to 30 cents cheaper than in Philly. You must be at the rip-off gas stations, there's a few of them on Haddonfield Berlin Road and near Evesham Road in Cherry hill where they charge Philly prices hoping the soccer moms/bimbos won't notice.

Not really. The prices in Cherry Hill were 5 cents a gallon cheaper than in Pitman. It's usually the other way. That included Haddonfield Berlin road.

I find the two cheapest areas to be around Lindenwold/Clementon and on Route 130 as it passes through Camden.

I know which ones you mean. The Lukoil on Haddonfield Berlin at Evesham is charging 2.99 today.
