Or, you are only provided assistance for the family that exists at the time you accepted it. If you then have more children you are on your own.

Finally, if you are unable to provide for your own family then maybe you should start thinking about putting your children up for adoption so they can atleast have the possibility of a better life than the one you cannot provide for them.
Ohh, no- you can't do that- that would violate the rights of those whose religion doesn't allow birth control. You've got some nerve coming up with a program like that!!

Of course not! It's a wife's duty to put out whenever the "man" says so : ))) Here's an interesting tid bit... did you know that in NJ, it's not illegal for a husband to rape his wife? Apparently the law was never changed - at least it wasn't a few years ago when this issue came to my attention from a woman I know who was raped by her husband and all he got was a slap on the rist. Anyway...off topic again as usual..sorry : ) what's the saying...Be fruitful and multiply

There is no doubt in my mind that birth control pills should come off prescription, and in fact, be made free. I'd gladly pay any tax increase that comes with such legislation.

suppose a woman's condition is contraindicated for BC pills or the patch or IUD or whatever? would you also support $$$ going to research to develop a male BC "pill" that comes with similar side effects and risks? would you force a man to take such measures as well?

I would support $$$ going to male BC pills that have similar risks, or, in fact, a vasectomy (which I received, incidentally).

what if a woman can't take birth control (first thing that comes to mind is a 35+ yr old smoker?)? also, would you force men to take these pills?

people, I did put an OR in there. If you cant/wont take the pill then your cut off if you have more kids.

Yes I would support research into male oral contraception. I have been a proponent for such a pill since my teenage years.

As for raping your wife, uhhh, she agreed to marry him no? That means she agreed to have sex with him. Just because one person "wants some" when the other doesnt does not = rape. How many of you have given some to your partner even tho you didnt want to. I bet the vast majority of married people out there have. I know I have.

I wouldn't force anyone to do anything, Tahiti. That's what socialists attempt to do through legislation. I would just make provisions to make any means of birth control more accessible, for those who want the choice to take them.
