Wiley, come on this means nothing to some people. It doesn't sell newspapers. I got lost going to your house. Maybe I'll try it again tomorrow. I'll just put the shower cap in the trunk. Your pick was better, the upper deck does have a wonderful view.

No real stocks here my friend... It just is a sign, in my opinion, that we may be pulling out of this recession!

I just want my money market to get back up to 30 where I bought in at. Its currently floating around 18.5 and has completely ruined me for investing. Its been comming back up slowly over the last few months but at this rate I'll be ready to retire by the time I break even. But, I dont want to give up on my double no tax municipal funds......

I would disagree and say that this isnt a good things Granted the market was up today, but just take a look at what the government has done. They have pretty much told all those companies who were in trouble through risky investments "thats ok, your bad, we got your back." What kind of standard does this send?

They did something similar to this after the S&L scandal but just because it worked then, what says it will work now?

You can definitely put me in the 'wait and see' camp. The government may have compromised itself for no long term benefit.

No - not a daily stock watcher. Only have become one when I realized I was going to need my investments for a down payment on a house I'd like.
