Clearly it was just a caught off guard thing, otherwise I don't think it would be quite as much of a mess.

my neighbor's bradford pear is essentially branchless now from the weight of the snow.

A foot-and-a-half of snow in some of the suburbs of Scranton. This has been an unprecedented October blizzard! I hope many more are to come; I could use the days off from school! LOL!

Well its cold enough now that I've actually turned on the heat... which is irritating as I had planned on buying my pellet stove by now, but that was before spending lots of time at the hospital (no, not me, and thankfully everyone is a-ok atm)

Only upstairs though. Downstairs can't be turned on until I finish my paneling.

LOL! Wiley! As you know I am a native upstate NY'er lol and we saw snow ALOT! I had to walk a mile to school every day and we had to walk through sometimes a foot of snow and guess what? Our school was still open when others were closed! Unless there was MORE than a foot of snow everything stayed open!

I laugh when I hear the salt trucks are getting ready around here for a whopping 1-2 in. of snow and they start shutting everything down lol

I'm irritated too, it was 57 this morning when I got up so I fired it up to 60. Well CuCullin it seems like I beat you by 5 hours. LOL Get your shovels ready I think we are in for a white winter this year.
