I'd bet that you don't even vote

"speaking up" anonymously on an internet message board does no good. run for office, write letters, get involved. but that actually involves work, it's much easier to play victim on CD and cry foul when someone calls you out on it.

and my wallet's not being drained, thanks for the concern though!

Run for office ? If I don't run for office then I can't speak an opinion ? Since most elections are between two people according to your opinion that would mean millions and millions of people in this state that couldn't get their name on a ballot wouldn't be able to voice their opinion because they didn't run for an office ? I do vote however which is more than about 50% of the population does.......I also vote for the "best" candidate.....I don't blindly pull a Republican or Democrate lever like most idiots do in this state soley based on the fact that their parents were Republicans or Democrats.......additionally.....behind closed doors the politicians laugh at the letters you write, thats why they keep heaping on the taxes because they don't take any of those "written" complaints seriously....the only thing they understand is VOTES.....as long as people keeping voting Republican or Democrate because they've been that all their lives and keep voting incumbants back in that don't follow the will of the people all the letters in the world won't amount to a hill of beans !!! Finally, if you live in this state and your wallet is not being drained then either you haven't looked in it lately or you need to get yourself into the Guinnes Book of World Records....because your the only one who can say that !!!
