I dont know much about it, but i have always thought that it was a pretty nice town.

I know that there are some flood issues, and to look out for that, but the houses are affordable and taxes look very low for the area.

Is there anything wrong with Wayne? Is it a good place to live? I work 20-25 minutes from Wayne in Northern Bergen county.

Take a look at previous threads. The people who live there love it.

Most people who work in Manhattan tend to prefer shorter commutes, so that would remove some of the demand from the equation -- the big commuter towns are the Union/Essex/Bergen county towns with good njtransit rail access.

Wayne is great. Nice town, close to shopping and restaurants. Good schools. Just be careful of the flood areas.

nice town - but getting across Wayne at the wrong time of day can be a nightmare commute

but there is a lot of shopping, distinct areas of town to live in, access to pretty much anything you need...
