I didn't say he was forced to do anything. What I meant was that it seems unfair (and kind of stupid) to refuse to work for a certain type of people just because of their profession. Not only is it foolish to turn down the money they're offering, but it's also discrimination.

He is going to take offense to this, but he does the same type of work that cops do. He does a service to people by designing kitchens, just like how cops do a service to people by protecting them-- hence the motto "Serve and protect". Service jobs are the backbone of America. People like desert sun and all the cops in the world are the salt of the earth. Desertsun is against them, even though they really should be on the same side.

Oh, it's discrimination alright. No doubt. Morally, he shouldn't discriminate. Legally, I would not obligate business owners to serve people. I'd rather let them remain independent and make their own good and bad decisions. If someone wants to lose money because of prejudice, I'd let them. Their loss.

Where there are 3 or 4 lane highways, i usually stay in the middle lane just because there are so many people exiting onto the highway it gets frustrating to have to get over every time someone needs to get in, and if there's a car right next to you the merge can get dangerous if you can't let someone in. But, since I am in the middle or left lanes more often I make an effort to not hold up traffic, or I move out of the way for faster drivers.

"If you drive the NJT over 70mph, back it down between exits 5 & 3, particularly if you're DWB. The troopers are so out there."

Oh, yeah. I drive that often and it is true. They're trying to get them before they escape to DE.

Also, too many idiots weave in and out of any lane opening just to get ahead of everyone else. The truckers will tailgate you in the middle lane too. Truth be told, the left lane is just easier at about 70mph if you just move it over when someone wants to pass. I drive in the left lane pretty much always. I also drive 10-15 miles per hour over the speed limit pretty much always. If someone is coming up behind me clearly driving faster than I am, I move into the center lane and let them pass well before they are even near me. Then I get back in the left lane.

It's just not very complicated.

It may be uncomplicated, simple, and safe.

But it's goes against the road rules, then again so does driving 10-15 miles per hour over the speed limit and no one cares about that.

Legally, there is no provision that DS has to design a kitchen for a police officer. He is within his right. There is still no legislation on the books that mandates that one must provide service to a group of people, providing that it is an occupation, because he does not like that occupation. If it was based on religion, race or gender, then he would be in violation.

Do you really believe that hogwash? When was the last time a cop protected and served anyone but themselves? Like my friend Michican Man said, I have the right to refuse anyone's business. Have you ever seen that sign before while walking into a store? Of course you did. Do you complain to the store manager? No you didn't.

You have been well brainwashed. Your govt has really got a hold on you. That is a very dangerous position to be in. Know your enemy. It is better to die on your feet then to live on your knees. I wish you knew half the nonsense that goes on behind the scenes.

Backbone of America? That is an insult. When the pigs start doing their job and fighting real crime then I will be right along side them. I promise you that. Hiding on the side of the road, raping and extorting hard working innocent law abiding citizens out of their money is not serving anyone. Is it serving you? It ain't serving anyone else I know. It does raise revenue for your local municipality though.
