Even if you have the same amount of rooms as another tenant, some people either pay more, the same or less. Depending on your income. The security will be the same as your rent.

I didn't get it, they said my income is over the guideline. I don't understand why they couldn't just say that from the beginning. I didnt think my income was above the guideline but what can I do. At least now I can move on. Good luck to whoever is still waiting.

Do you have the opportunity to appeal? Did you go over their figures and see if any mistakes were made?

That sucks! You should appeal if you think your income is not above the guidelines. Same thing happened one of my friend case with an another building. They said he was above the limit. But he appealed and finally got approved.

At least everything is new in the apt.

She didn't give me any info. About anything they used, or how they calculated it.

I emailed her and asked if there were any updates with my application and she replied saying that she just received an update and that it has been determined that my income is over the guideline. There wasn't any mention of an appeal, or anything at all. How do I even appeal?

Did they send you a letter saying you was denied ? Because I got denied at first & once I got the letter in the mail I appeal it & I got approved & moved in about 3 weeks ago
