That building looks gorgeous!!! If I didn’t win the other project, I would def apply for this one! I’m qualified for studios & one-bedrooms but I guess 1BR is more sense in terms of the price.

I wish you good luck!!!

Tysm! - this is my second dream lottery! One Blue Slip was my first, although they did contact me to submit documents, the two beds that were left were way tooooooo small for 3K.

I have a very good feeling about this one! Fingers crossed for that 3bed

Hi! I know you visited One Blue Slip. How did you like the area? I think there's only 1 subway? Didn't seem that close. Good luck to you!

The area is quiet - I love it! Transit isn't so great though :/ - G train is a 10 min walk and 7 train is a 20 min walk over the Pulaski bridge. The building offers tenants a discount on cab rides to train stations with the VIA app. There are buses that go over the Pulaski bridge where you can transfer to the 7 train as well.

I work in Midtown Manhattan - if granted an apartment, i'd walk or take bus (which is 3 blocks away) over the Pulaski bridge and take 7 train to Manhattan. I'd make it to work in 20 mins.

Looks beautiful and definitely a steal!

For market rate, the two bedrooms go for $15K and the one bedrooms go for $6K! Studios are almost $3600
The one bedrooms are 606 ft² so I imagine the studios to be around 500ft² The two bedrooms are 1,221 ft²

Whoever gets this one will definitely win the lottery!

Good luck!

I can't imagine walking over that bridge in this weather haha. I also wonder if there are enough grocery stores in the area as well but it is really quiet and lovely.

stormgal, one can only wish for non-micro studios.. but I don't have my hopes up anymore. I don't get why no one ever has studio floor plans up.

hey Guys! Living in One Blue Slip already, there's also the ferry which is a couple blocks away and takes less than 5 mins to get into the city. There is a free transfer bus to take you across 34th st, if you work in midtown its a pretty quick commute. For Grocery stores there one up the block and a deli on the corner, and there is also a grocery store opening in front of 2 two blue slip soon.

Saw the studios in 2 blue slip a few months ago and will say they aren't a bad size but 1 blue slip studios are a bit larger.

Just applied to this lottery! Hopefully I'm early enough to get a good LOT#. The one bedrooms are expensive (more than what I will be paying at 329 Broadway) but this was a building I was looking into before I even realized it was apart of the lottery - back in January!

The COVID deals made the studio $2,500/month but ultimately I decided to hold out for a lottery apartment and save $$$ versus moving into the studio and praying for the building to offer the $2,500/month concession again. Plus really I wanted one bed but could only afford the studio.

The apartments are huge. Some studios even have an amazing view of the East River and the Manhattan skyline!

Sadly the transportation aspect is a big con. The property manager did say that they're in talks with the city to building a ferry stop right in front of the building (and a public park!).

I just imagine I would spend a lot of money on Ubers when I move into this place because its a 15-20 minute walk from the G - Greenpoint.

I also heard a Trader Joe's was opening in LIC soon!

Thanks for the info! Curious as to why the studios aren't comparable in size between the two buildings. Glad they're opening up a new grocery store. This is the problem in LIC, there just aren't enough grocery options. Ferry stop is temporarily down, hope it gets fixed soon. Trader Joes is already open but it's by court square.
