I'm in the October class ---
Like others have already said, depending on whom you talk to, you get different answers.
I've noticed that people in position of authority are being very careful about saying anything about the November class except that it's not guaranteed. The fellow sanworkers, however, are more optimistic that it'll happen.
But either way, it looks like this upcoming class (if there is one) may be last one in awhile, as even sanworkers aren't too optimistic about the Spring class.
Wish you guys/gals the best of luck in making the November class; If you don't, at least wish for a ton of snow this winter that'll make Bloomberg rethink his position.
I was told by many that the September class and the October class possibly might not have happened if it weren't for numerous snow storms we had this past winter.
hr knows they gaurenteed ppl november. heck i no kids that quit their job already. they know ppl r bankin big on this. and for them to say the class is on is very difficult, but for them to say its cancelled is very easy. hey its cancelld 2 days later now its on. now think of the opposite. classs is on two days later no its cancelled. they dont wanna do that. so that have to absoulty without ne doubt sure thats its on. tmrw shud be the day we know but hey maybe not maybe a day or 2 more. but if it was cancelled they wudda sed it quick like they did every other time. i was on the list in 03 i jus missed makin it by a few ppl. took it again in 07 now im suppose to be in november. i waited 8 years for this. im all over this topic. guys if im not worried dont be worried. i turned down local 79 today 20 dollar a hr job. u cud think thats stupid but thats how ssure i am that i will be wearin that green shortly.
novemberblues im curious, are you on the job already or are you waiting like a lot of us for this november class to get on? I really hope for your sake you are right about this november class happening because a lot of guys are not going to like you if you are waiting to get on the job and you are wrong. If you are right you will be the ultimate sanman.
