Well if your neighbors have pests then your gonna see some spillage unfortunately. But the very best thing you can do is starve the pests out by keeping a clean apartment.

Agreed. Keeping a clean apartment is one of the top rules of containment. Denying vermin entry points is another. The further away from your apt that you can extend that umbrella of cleaniness, the better.
