Yes time will tell. Evidence is they land the entry level professionjal jobs but are seen as being too "meek" to be romoted as managers.
Asians in general and Asian MALES in particular, have a number of issues to deal with in the real world. Indeed Asian males suffer from the reverse stereotype that black men do to the point where many Asian women dont want them. Check out Asian sites and there is this dynamic. There is a dychotomy between Asian females who ahve high intermarriage rates and Asin males who are now intermarrying at LOWER rates than are black males.
Now these comments refer to the 2nd generation Asians. By the 3rd generation they are equivalent to whites...not meek and not especially successful academically. And yes just as likely to do liberal arts as a ciop out from the more challenging STEM or Finance courses.
So many from brutalized backgrounds confuse self-control for meekness, conflate swagger with strength and think that politeness means weakness.

I don't know what evidence you've seen, but I work with several Asian-American Senior Managers and Directors at a Fortune 500 company, mostly in their 30s. Give it a decade or two.
I notice pretty much all of the Indo Guyanese live in Queens and the Afro-Guyanese live in Brooklyn.
This is a stupid question, but I assume you're talking about Indians as in Native Americans (basically, people from before Columbus was here), not people from South Asia, right? Because I remember on Yahoo Answers a girl was talking about being Guyanese and having relatives back in India and something about her ancestors being sold into slavery.

That is how Guyanese refer to Indian descended people from Guyana.

Virtually every new small business that opens in my neighborhood now is owned by Asians.A disproportionally high number of apartments and houses are also being bought by Asians.

How do you know the percentage of Orthodox Jews? putting all these information together gets you around 1/4th of all white children in NYC are Orthodox
1. the day school census.
2. looking at all the white children in census tracts and trying to figure out the Orthodox % of white non Hispanic children.
3. according to the Jewish Federation in 2002 there were 146,000 Orthodox children in NYC, LI, and Westchester. (there is no way that number went down in the past 10 years)
putting all 3 of these information together 1/4th seems to be right.
