I was thinking of checking out Carnegie East House for my mom. But with the noise, construction and dust I think I'll wait until construction is over. I recall living in Flushing when the MTA was blasting away at all hours of the night when they were building an escalator at the Main St stop of the 7 train. It wasn't fun living (sleeping) through that. And I was blocks away from the actual blasting.

I have an acquaintance who lives at Carnegie East House but he is so demented that he rarely leaves anymore but a friend of his who visits frequenly (to limited recognition) says the construction isn't much of a problem.
But outside it is a proper war zone since it is atop the new 96th St. Station to be.
