You heading down there after your fun day out of town? Saw your name on the board.
We signed in at QE 8 this morning then signed out and went next door to QE 10. I was told we are going to get hours for that, I hope so. Yesterday I was in QE 11A so I wasn't getting any hours going to 8, but we were told that because we signed out and went to 10, we are now getting hours.
Good week, 9 hours OT, 8 hours out of town, and tomorrow cancelled chart.
What's this I've been reading about Tier 5 25/50 retirement plans? What exactly does it mean? I'm not on the job, so I don't know any details.
I'm assuming this is some sort of pension reduction. Read some article in the papers recently about how young retirees are bleeding pensions dry, so I'm guessing the article was some good old fashioned City Hall Propaganda to get Joe Public to back any plan that reduces benefit payouts.

Well do you want to dump on shift or not Most of Q5 dumps I believe.Q1 and Q9 stay out all day..
i rather stay out all day. Im in the bronx, and my district is all about running and dumping. they'll do over 20 tons a day as long as they can be back in the garage in 3-4 hrs. I have a long way to go on this job and I want to walk out of here healthy the way i came in. I dont mind alot of walking house to house, just as long as im not breaking my back doing 20 tons a day.

read the chief saw that harry met with bloomberg.....and that the state got more money then they expected from the stimilus but the state might not give us our fair share and if that happens bloomberg said to harry massive layoffsss.....harry said if you need me to go to albany with you i will...also i think in the article was something about the healthcare costs and basically harry saying now way.......so i guess we hope for our fair share of the cash....one guy from my garage said i heard 1000 layoffs i dont even know how that would be possible with 109 retiring 1000 guys put us real low and people sick, lodi and dont even know how they would cover each shift...i still believe 100-300...
Sandog, what bx garage are you in? You don't have to leave the bronx for "more say in your day"... Middleton is a real problem. I mean that seriously.
