6 oz each would be a decent size for that price. I love the Seashore Restaurant on City Island. Their Brazilian twin lobster tail platter is $45. Twin Canadian lobster tail platter is $35. Neither platter indicates the size of the tails though but I guess 6-8 oz would be average.

(all this talk about seafood is makin' me want the shellfish extravaganza at Seashore. I think I need to make a reservation soon )
