Default Confused

My friend had her interview...said they denied her on the spot because of INCOME. Her income hasn't changed since she submitted her documents in October. Instead of using the projected income from this year they told her they had to use the highest of 3 numbers and one of them was her gross income from her tax return. Which wouldn't be best to use because she switched agencies last year but had overtime with that agency so it was a little higher. Also they told her that they would do a home visit and take pictures...I thought they didn't do this anymore???

They're not supposed to do home visits at all. And she can appeal

HOME VISIT?!?!?! Never have i heard of them doing a home visit, unless the person is moving into a shelter that's BS.

ALSO, how much above income was she with the OT? I've been doing OT too at my job because we were short staffed but that NEVER comes around and the woman is back from her maternity leave so i'm no longer receiving OT.

New York State Homes and Community Renewal

New York State,
They denied my appeal in mistake again. don't even read my appeal letter.
I think the girl who handles my interview, doesn't understand the handbook.
So I need to make appeal toward New York State HFA department.
