wellllll, apparently NOT! they're ran by the state not the city, so they "need" home visits. I mean if it's not YOUR apartment why would they conduct them, you can't tell somebody else how to live but that's just my thought (what do i know) and plus i was denied because of OT.
I wish the lottery buildings I applied to did home visits and gave us an A+ and pushed our status higher. I don't fully agree with home visits, but if you look at some of the other housing lottery threads, a LOT of people are wishing some of their new neighbors had them.
yes, they did. but they just want to see if you mess up with ur home or not. nothing else.
Question for you. Was your home visit done right after your interview? Or did it take time. They told me I am within the income range but they keep asking for more pay stubs which is confusing me

after my interview, and then they will submit your documents to NYS to approvel
Yes, they need additional information if they keep asking you. It is a good sign thought.
