You can easily find out what percentage non-Hispanic white it is.
As I stated before, the census indicates that Bedford Park is 13% non Hispanic White. However, living there for a year, I can say with a certainty that there is no way that's it's 13% white European.
How can you find out the number Hispanics that self-identified identified as non-Hispanic white (for whatever reason)?
It's not as if the census beareu goes around checking every single household. You can choose to identify yourself as whatever you want. My Fillipino friend form college always checked off "Hispanic" (he thought it gave him a better chance) on every application. lol

I highly doubt a significant amount of Hispanics would check off "non-Hispanic white".
People from the Middle East/North Africa are considered white on the census, maybe that has something to do with it. It could also be your perception. Didn't you claim that you only see blacks and Hispanics get off past 86th at on the Lexington Ave line? I haven't observed that to be true personally.

My perception for an entire year? Were all the white people hiding from me?
Yes, take the D past 145th and 4 train past 86th and the vast majority of people on the train will not be White. I think it's safe to assume that around evening rush there are more whites up to 125th on the 4 train.
I did it everyday for a year. When I only had work I took the D train in the morning and back in the evening and when I had classes after work (3 times a week), I took the 4 train back at about 930 pm.
Every single day for year I took the D express at 7 am, the train filled up by Tremont and I could count the number of white people on a few fingers. On the way back, I always caught the last of the 2 express D trains (last one at 6:12 pm) and past 145th, there were almost no white people unless there was a Yankee game and certainly almost no white folks past 161st.
On the way back 3 times a week at around 930 pm on the 4 express to Bedford Park, the train would literally disgorge most of it's white occupants by 86th street. In fact, if there wasn't a seat, I would stand next to a white person and would almost certainly get a seat at 86th street.
If you observe something different, then I don't know what trains you're taking. Maybe you're in a parallel universe.
Many of the supers were/are Albanian, especially in the better buildings. I also saw a few older whites that must have lived there for decades. Apart from Alabanians, I didn't see many other whites at all. It's not like I stayed in my apt either. I went to shop at the local supermarkets, I walked to Fordham Road regularly, I took walks around the neighborhood, went to the local diners, etc.
I used to go to a gym in the area on a regular basis. There were over 100 members there at peak times. There were maybe 2-3 whites at most at any given time. Most of the time it was just me. lol
Not that I have a problem with any of the above but when some claim the area isn't like 95% non-white, I don't even know what to say.

I forgot that the 4 is express, but if you take the 6 train there are many white people getting off at 96th st and maybe even the next stop. The 1 train has white people all the way to to the end, going North.
The Bronx trains are definitely overwhelmingly nonwhite once you leave Manhattan though, you're right about that.

The 1 train carries many Riverdale folks. Riverdale is one of the few white (and shrinking) enclaves in the Bronx.
The 6 is the same. How many whites past 125th? There's a general theme.
Alot of white people get off in West Harlem, Washington Heights, Inwood, and Kingsbridge as well.
I don't doubt that but I never took the 1 train on a regular basis. I wouldn't call the 1 a Bronx train through.
