Thank you. They contacted me at the end of March to come sign documents before my file was sent to HPD. I was able to view my apartment during the orientation visit. It is lovely. Nice size, not huge. Standard white appliances. I'm basically done with the process. Just have to give my first month rent and security deposit then I'm getting the keys and moving in.
Congratulations. Happy for you. Glad to see some activity and the "affordable" tenants moving in. Did you find out the fees for the amenities? I'm still waiting for the management to review my files and pass it on to HPD.
That's great! I'm happy for you, and happy to hear about some movement on this building. Since we're all hearing so little, could you keep us posted on your progress? Did you view your apartment? I'm sure it's lovely, as it's a beautiful building. Here's a question: Did they contact you to tell you your file was going to HPD, or did you just get the call to come in for orientation? Another pressing question: Did you have to submit anything beyond what you submitted during your first interview (the items on the checklist)? Or was that it? Thanks!
Yeah I'm also wondering about the call before files sent to HPD.. I signed a bunch of paperwork without putting a date on them during the initial intake.. did you get the call before the files were sent or after you've been approved ??
I think the coordinator dates them when she/he sends them to wherever. A few of my bank verifications sent me copies of what they'd received from East 39th St., and there was a date next to my signature that had been filled in.
Doesn't mean that at all. It means they've likely interviewed all preference groups. And they're starting on nonpreference as backups. They've assigned units to very few, it seems.
Oh, who knows what it means. I find that they answer the phone here, and are pretty nice. Why don't you call and just ask your status? I had to call about something last week (not my status), and the they were very responsive. And nice. And friendly.
I'm late to the thread but they did email me about coming in for an intake interview and I am in the general pool. They said they'll start interviewing general pool applicants may 15th-the 31st. Log # 12XX
