And of course there's the video taken just before her death showing her jogging alone.

yes it's our opinion, and it's completely unfounded and not based in reality.

glad to hear you're not alone in believing this nonsense. But that doesn't help your case. Thousands of people belieive childen are shipped in furniture via Wayfair - does that make it true?
Sure they do. Look @ Scott Petersen. Not his daughter, but his wife. Same thing. Grown man. No prior offenses.

Heres the other thing i want to add … as a female & a runner myself, there are 2 things i think runners & especially female ones should never do: 1) look down at a phone & 2) wear headphones. It is so important FOR YR SAFETY to be aware of yr surroundings & be able to see & hear what is going on around you. At the time of her attack, Katrina was texting a friend & had earbuds in. i am NOT victim blaming but I am simply stressing the importance of paying attention

None sense I'm a female runner and I do both. You gotta live. You can't live every aspect of your life in fear of what if.

As a runner, I will say when you go out for a local run. It's often like clock work. So when your always gone an hour, running the same route and now two hours have gone by it would be a cause for concern.

Sure but do you think this story would have had a different ending had Karina not been doing those things? One of the things Chanel said was that he grabbed her b/c she “seemed distracted.” Ya i dont live in fear either but you are more of a target of trouble if you seem distracted.

If you were trying to snatch a purse and there are 2 women, which woman are you going to approach … the distracted one or the non distracted one? I dont think anyone will refute this - it’s common sense

Yes but not always. There are times after my run i’ll walk a mile extra or something to cool down or i’ll sit in the park for 10 extra minutes & play with the rabbits if they’re there or stop @ the 7-11 & grab another bottle of water. It’s not always going to be consistent. Granted that doesnt take an hr but I am not always gone the same amount of time when I also do the same route every time as well.

Well from what the father said she had a routine. So perhaps you stop and play with rabbits but it doesn't sound like it was her MO.
I personally was always consistent. I'd go out for 6 mile runs and you could time me by 2 minutes when I'd be back. Some athletes are routine and some not.

yeah, but on a spur of the moment one can deviate from the "regular routine", it does happen, what you always do, once and a while it can be changed...

so im not buying it.

Right I understand a spur of the moment thing could happen. I'm just trying to point out why when she wasn't home an hour later it brought concern.

Concern, sure. But what did the father tell his police official neighbor that got him to bring dozens of cops, police dogs, and a helicopter to search for an adult female who was a world traveler? They knew somehow that she was a crime victim despite the official story that some random guy happened upon her while she was jogging, unbeknownst to anyone at the time. I think someone alerted the father that his daughter had been or was about to be attacked. I don’t know who that was.
