I just rode passed the building but there is so much construction going on I couldn't see anything really well. Some of the wood boards on the 59th st side have been removed but the ones on the 60th st and in front of 1 WEA are still up. Moving in we will have to put up with a ton of work being done> but when it's finished it's going to be beautiful.
I can deal with construction! It's my roommates I don't think I can live with much longer...

This is my nightmare. Another 6 months of hearing nothing.
I walked by the building at night yesterday, a lot of the boards are down indeed, the "fire" is "lit" in the market rate lobby, and there is even a doorman. It appears the building is just about open for business. But I didn't see any signs of life in the building, though most of the lights were on in the affordable units.
This process could drive you to drink. From most interviews it's been 5 months. Even if you were told you have been accepted but we need to update your documents, NOTHING IS FINAL! UNTILL YOU SIGN A LEASE AND HAVE YOUR KEYS IN YOUR HAND. PEASE MOVE RAPIDLY THROUGH THIS PROCESS.

Yes, this process is awful and uncertain...but worth the wait. In my case, it took almost 8 months from the initial interview until I was called to view my unit. We then scheduled my lease signing.
I don' think anyone is living in 10 FP yet although the lights are on at night. 10 FP place is such a handsome looking building...I love the facade.
My biggest fear is this going until the end of the year and me getting a year-end bonus, raise, or promotion that puts me just out of the income bands Please finish before the end of the year. Once they have our updated docs there's no further reason for delay.
