It comes down to parenting. A lot of people that have no clue on how to be an adult are having kids compound that with people who have no business having kids and you have a hot mess.

A 15 year old was killed and another man was injured in a shooting at 3pm. 2 hours earlier someone else was shot in a separate incident in the same projects (Bushwick Houses).

Too many people carrying -- too many weapons on the street.

Just downloaded the Citizen app. yesterday -- today I see these shootings in Bushwick and a report of an assault with a weapon at a friend's building in Flatbush.

Call it what ever you want but this city needs a program where people are afraid carry weapons on their person. We have been relatively lucky in recent years regarding homicides --this trend of teenagers being killed is no good.

That area is a goonie area

A lot of ppl sleep on over there, but that part of Williamsburg is kinda rough

1) Stop and Frisk

2) Legal carry for the law-abiding.

Only two choices that work.

Legal carry won’t work in nyc, too many people. All it’s going to take is for a person to shot someone on the train and it’s over. We have way too many stress factors. I think a compromise would be to allow law abiding citizens to carry a gun in their home. Usually most regular people not involved with gangs and doing nonsense won’t have to worry about getting shot outside of their home.

Two more shootings tonight, both in Harlem according to Citizen. One on 154th street with the victim likely to die, another in Thomas Jefferson Park. Less than two hours apart.
