Yikes. A friend of mine who also tried thought it was tasty but that it didn't live up to the hype.

I wonder if they changed the recipe from their original version to make it cheaper or faster to make? This sad tragedy happened to Oatmeal creme pies.

Are we rethinking out $10,000 investment?

I'm not. Plenty of people still seem to like it (I'm just not among them) and sales continue to be strong.

I would hope that's not what happened! I got the spicy sandwich and it had absolutely no heat, so I wonder if they gave me the mild by mistake or if the spicy just isnt spicy

Not the worst investment. Like the people that invest in Apple despite the slowing iPhone sales...

I dont get why people are standing online for the sandwich. Are they not smart enough to get the app and just do a pick up in store? Similar to Dominoes and Chic Fil A, who actually goes there, places an order in person and waits for them to make it? Order in the app, and pick up later. Skip the line!

I didn't realize that there was an app until you mentioned it. I wonder how many people know this.

There seems to be a common theme in these Popeyes videos.
