Well this unwelcome bit of news is playing havoc with Thanksgiving plans..... *LOL*

Family in Jersey have large homes on acreage which was great for summer/warmer weather because everyone was outside which made social distancing easier. Having a huge gathering of people even in a decent sized home but everyone indoors might not work...

OTOH family on Staten Island is getting anxious with all this recent news. Houses are big enough, and lord knows over years have had plenty of huge family/holiday events were things were tight, but everyone managed, however this is covid-19 reality time. Obviously those who live in apartments are O-W-T out for hosting events .

Many older women who weren't planning on doing Thanksgiving dinner (they've paid their dues and done their time, *LOL*) are now considering prospect of doing dinner at home with just their family. But between themselves, the kids, grand kids and great grand kids alone you're not talking about a small get together.

Other worry is no matter where things are held people are going to be coming from either off Island, our traveling to Jersey from out of state (if you've seen or been in the traffic on Outerbridge, 440, Rt 1, NJT, etc.. you know what I'm talking about), so there's that worry.

Is Il Duce or Sam The Eagle going to set up checkpoints for those coming back into city after Thanksgiving? Will people who travel out of state (no matter how local) be required to self-quarantine for a period of days?

Welp, we got our punishment for the election much quicker than even I expected.

These scummers are going to use the power vested in them by the taker class to punish us with the full measure of government force. Stand strong and resist, they have no true power over free Americans. We yield it. The contract between the people and government has been finally broken.

All that remains is for a leader to emerge who assembles a muster point...

South Williamsburg is another Hasidic area (and even moreso than Crown Heights, which has a high West Indian population)

Who's he gonna blame for the coming 2nd wave? Can't blame Trump and Europe anymore.

Crown Heights Hasidics are a bit more modern (Hipster Hasids are actually a thing there) and are less insulated than in South Williamsburg or Borough Park.

Who knows with these people. Thankfully I can afford catholic school so at least mine have that. They're trying to drag us down to the lowest common denominator. That's what this is all about: "Smashing white supremacy."
