I remember back in the day when the Crown Heights riots were happening a city official actually advised motorists to LEAVE the scene of an accident if it involved a certain beloved demographic and drive to the nearest precinct. I think that is some very sound advice.
With all the various bikes/scooters disregarding every single traffic law, added to the cars doing whatever they want as well, I HATE driving in certain parts of the city now because I see something like this happening to me. Granted, I'm armed as well and will definitely defend myself, but the possibility of this type of encounter is not something I enjoy.
