I would love more Vietnamese and Philippines here. Thai and Indian as well. I love their cuisines. A few years ago it was whites in Queens and Brooklyn complained about stores with unusual lettering. I told these whites to go f--k off because we need better food than just trash bagels. Good thing is these whites have moved out to Florida.

As for skilled vs unskilled. Immigration preference should be for the skilled or those working in demand fields like STEM. Now if some guy is a professional chef, sure or a plumber, electrician, or welder, bring them here. The unskilled immigrants should be the lowest priority to get here. I heard of immigration cases a few years back, where a scientist from Czech Republic could not immigrate here, but they were letting in people to come here that knew someone else in a menial job, and their goal was to drive Uber. That scientist ended up going to the UK but for a Chinese company. So not just is that a loss for us, but a win for our enemy.

Yeah some of them are well banked, not as much as the men. Definitely more money than some 20 something guy but not as much as men into their 40s or 50s. I am assuming men with stable critical jobs. When I was in Florida, I saw many of the MILF types use EBTs in Publix but at the same time driving BMWs. So they must have gamed the system some how.
We hear this talk about the migrants this the migrants that. But everyone even here in NYC knows why they don't want them around here. They neither look good or they are not educated.
I hate to say this, but let's be honest. No one, at least no hetero male would be complaining if the female migrants were highly attractive women in their 20s or early 30s from Ukraine, or had Spanish Soar opera looks from Colombia, or Brazil. Maybe obese women, hairy women, or haggard women would be outraged.
I will even take it a step further. If these migrants were all loaded up with Masters or Phds in critical hi-tech fields whether male or female, we also would be far more likely to accept them regardless of how they look. I hope so cause we need more smart people, not a boat load of illiterate Uber drivers that act like scumbags and protest a one seat rail line to JFK, La Guardia, or Newark Airport for their selfish interest.

I do. Bagels, I kinda backed away from cause it's like a whatever food. Now if we could have hummus and pitas which is associated with the Med, Israel included, bring it on.
I do tend to prefer flavorful or spicier dishes.

I don't know what's not clear about his position. He doesn't want his tax dollars going to illegal immigrants (enough of this "migrant" crap). They're here ILLEGALLY and they shouldn't be getting a dime of taxpayer money when we have homeless New Yorkers that are citizens here. That's where our tax dollars should be going.
We've taken on over 70,000 illegal immigrants in a matter of months with no end in sight. They have to be fed (not just anything will do either - they are beggars but choosy ) put up in nice hotels, etc., and there's end in sight. Now there is talk about putting them in affordable apartments when we have a housing crisis here while Americans sleep in filthy squalor on the streets.

As long as a people do not draw attention to themselves by way of crime
and violence the weather of emotions remains relatively calm among the masses.
The media focus on crime jumps from persons to persons serving
as a subtle warning on who to stay away from at that particular time.
People are instinctively driven and not drawn to cities where scenes
on violence look like something out of a Third World Country or National
Geographic unless of course you are a Super Hero in search of saving Metropolis.
People in general are peaceful by nature even when caught up in the turbulence
of violence but there always comes at time and a place when enough is enough,
and then it's Bye Bye............

Our country has an established immigration system in place it is just not being used anymore. Our system works if it was turned on again.
It means ICE removes any illegal aliens from our country. It means our police assist ICE. It means our border patrol helps stop illegal aliens from entering. It means our judicial system punishes treasonous organizations who assist pro-illegals within our country.
It means public libraries do not not harbor illegal aliens. It means our churches do not harbor illegal aliens. It means our Department of Transportation does not issue driver’s licenses to illegal aliens. It means that businesses are heavily fined for hiring illegal aliens. It means schools and hospitals are not allowed to have illegal aliens in them.
It even means illegal aliens are not allowed to be dishwashers here. They are not allowed to do bike delivery in cities. They are not allowed to take construction jobs.
Really the only thing we allow illegal aliens here are a set of handcuffs on their wrists and a jail cell while they wait to be transported out of our country. And prior to all of our nice countries immigration systems we have today, we just used bullets to kill them.
We have an immigration system that works, it is just not even turned on anymore.
