I hear LGA is now quite nice, because the last time I used (arriving from Florida) it there were things like the escalator not working. I thought to myself I have never seen that in an airport in a developing country, but look and behold with LGA giving excellent first impressions. Plus, the day was hot and muggy and their a/c either didn't work well or they kept it at very warm temperatures. Never again I said and haven't been back since.

JFK is huge and how good it's depends on the terminal since there are several. The last terminal I used was the Jetblue one and that one is quite modern and nice. It might still be the newest terminal at JFK.

The biggest pet peeve is what I saw yesterday on the Instagram account of News 12 NYC (I don't live in NYC, but follow a few accounts from there since not a year goes by without visiting NYC a few times.) All NYC airports + Newark Intl is going to increase the parking fee to $80. Great!

I never used the Direct Rail.
Well if that is your standard, then you are dumb. Also, I said the problem is there is NO direct rail.

As for tourist confusion, I have been confused using the London tube and Paris metro. I see plenty of tourists confused with the standard NYC subway processes as well. I think confusion over a new system to you is normal and expected.
If you found London, Paris, or any big European city confusing then you are an idiot. There was a giant line of people in Jamaica trying to figure out what to do. In Europe, you never see that at the rail stations inside the airports.

What bus are you talking about? It make no difference whether you take the bus or train to Jamaica to get to JFK. You are ALWAYS required to pay the fee to use the AirTrain. If you take a bus to get to JFK directly there is no fee on the AirTrain cause it is free inside the airport.

China is a not a democracy but a communist dictatorship that can just order things to be built. Not an example for the US or any democracy.

If you think the US is a shining example of democracy then you been smoking some hard crack or meth.

The U.S. sells itself to lobbyists like the auto, oil, and airline industry. We have third world infrastructure cause of these groups and it's all due to crony capitalism. The highway system built in the last sixty or seventy years has done nothing but caused crime inside urban areas. Cross Bronx is famous for that.

I am not saying China is a mr. nice guy, but they actually think about the future. They build useful things. NYC could have been Shanghai but thanks to Robert Moses we have flavor of Los Angeles in our city thanks to his highways.

In terms of building infrastructure, China has done more good for its people in thirty years than the U.S. has done in the last sixty years.

It’s 2023 are we really still calling China a communist country? The reason China gets thing done faster is because they don’t have to go through all these branches of government and have them all agree on things. It’s definitely a lot more efficient than whatever the hell we got going on here where we need your grandma to agree and your grandma’s grandma to agree before we do anything.

I like using LGA the best but since covid most of the places I fly in the states don't fly direct there anymore. Either I have to Fly Newark or JFK or do a non direct out of LGA
