So the only way to attain wealth is to incur debt for 30 years, while making someone else even richer than you are (boss, bank, pick one) and being ok with that

Meanwhile stock market is no different than going to Atlantic City for a weekend

You have fun with that economic slavery
investing in the largest companies in america isn’t like atlantic city at all .

you can take any typical accumulation periods since 1871 which typically spans 3 to 4 decades and never not make quite a bit of money in a diversified portfolio

That's not what communism is. Communism is when the means of production is owned by the government, basically meaning everybody works for the government. All I'm saying is we already pay for housing, so what's stopping somebody from charging the air we breathe? All's fair in love and capitalism...

The point is I shouldn't have to do that to live an "enriching" existence

On NASA's website, it states that humans need food, water, air and shelter to survive. All I'm saying is that if it's ok to profit off of food and shelter, why not profit off of water and air too? You basically are born into a world where you'll die if you don't make money. No wonder why so many are "poor," they'll never print enough for everybody, and this is why whoever prints the money controls who doesn't

Since this thread veered so far off topic, I might as well add my 2 cents. It didn't start with Communism. Here is Rousseau.

Mayor Adams doesn't like getting yelled at by white women, pulls race card.

https://nypost.com/2023/06/29/nyc-wo...ho-fled-nazis/

Evidently perturbed, Adams responded calmly “First, if you’re going to ask a question, don’t point at me, and don’t be disrespectful to me.”

“I’m the mayor of this city and treat me with the respect that would deserve to be treated. I’m speaking to you as an adult.

“Don’t stand in front like you treated someone that’s on the plantation that you own.”
