Is it true we lost tertiary routes and that privates can come in and collect garbage if we fall too far behind with snow removal?

During snow theres primary, secondary and tertiary roads...from whats going around the garage, it looks like the mayor is giving private contractors the tertiarys to clear now. Just another thing theyre taking away from us

Thanks....the tertiary routes i guess would have the least sense of urgency as opposed to busy avenues ,intersections etc?....yeah bloomberg taking away work just trickles right down to people waiting to get on.

Yea tertiarys are basically side streets...bloomberg will use giving away our work to privates as a reason not to hire more sanitation workers and he'll put money in the pockets of his contractor buddys rather than just putting that money towards replenishing our ranks and giving us better equipment so we can do the job right
