Prices are falling in Syracuse.

Why buy today when you can buy later for 60% less?

Check my CDF join date and reputation. I've been on here for over a yr and a half with just 1 profile.
What I don't get is why you'd come on these boards and make wild, unsubstantiated claims about a market that weathered the real estate bubble burst remarkably well. If you want to hear horror stories about the housing markets, head over to the PHX, Vegas, Miami boards.

I don't own a house in upstate NY. I have nothing to "get over". Unless you want me to get over the misinformation you are spreading to support an agenda of yours that no one is buying anyway. If that's what you mean, then it will comfort you to know that I'm now over it. Ignored...

Ya never know what somethings worth til ya sell it of coarse.

I keep an eye on the graph on Zillow and over all I'm holding my own in a small city outside Syracuse.

It bounces around alot but on average I'd guess I've lost 10-20% of real value. Of coarse I bought 10 years ago before the "boom". In 2008-09 they claim my house was 120K. Now its prolly about 50K. So that would be over his claimed 60% number. But I only paid 60. I don't know what the guy next door paid (guess I could look it up) but it must be alot because if you hear him talk you'd think I worked for the COC!!!!

I'll also state that while the dropping value of homes upsets me by no means do I feel unique in the USA these past few years, percentage wise. I'm losing alot less money I guess cause things never was worth much here.

The Syracuse media seem to have a HO for Oneida. Its all true of coarse so no harm no foul. But I know when Jim Kenyon rolls into town I can knock about 5K off my house<sigh>

Has Oneida turned into a meth mecca? : News : CNYcentral.com
