I think the question is a generalization. In my opinion, it is men who let their friends do all sorts of questionable things and still remain close with them. I've known guys who find out that their best friend, close friend, roommate, etc. slept with their girlfriend behind their back, and they definitely kicked the girlfriend to the curb (as well they should), but they forgave the backstabbing guy and remained buddies.
U might be crazy. In a man friendship that would be a fight to the death! I would not want the girl either but I would kick his ass, everyday sometimes twice until death or jail.

My sanity has nothing to do with it. I said I've known GUYS who did this - I'm not a guy. I would never be friends with again with someone who did that to me.

Bros before hos. You have a lot more history with most friends than most girls you're with.

is it women insecurity? i know it hard to make true friends these days but come on already.
maybe that why so many women stay in bad relationship, bad marriage and bad friendship. or is it just low self esteem.
Not in my experience. As a woman, if I go for a few weeks without contacting a female friend, she is all upset and acting like a shrew. But one of my guy friends? Nope, not the guys. They are always happy and glad to hear from me. So I call opposite!
