My sanity has nothing to do with it. I said I've known GUYS who did this - I'm not a guy. I would never be friends with again with someone who did that to me.

is it women insecurity? i know it hard to make true friends these days but come on already.

maybe that why so many women stay in bad relationship, bad marriage and bad friendship. or is it just low self esteem.

Not in my experience. As a woman, if I go for a few weeks without contacting a female friend, she is all upset and acting like a shrew. But one of my guy friends? Nope, not the guys. They are always happy and glad to hear from me. So I call opposite!
