I read here that some people consider 5'8" average for a male. I am that height and I feel that I am short compared to other men, especially men in their 20s and 30s. I have a friend who is 6'1" and he feels only average. This statistical average of 5'9" or 5'10" has got to be outdated and if it wasn't than my height of 5'8" is close to average and most men I see are taller and many alot taller than 5'8".
Hmm, to me, completely unscientifically, I think average would be about 5'9.5" (no joke as far as any decimals, really). Anyone 5'11" is totally in safe range ('tall enough'); anyone below 5'8" ... no comment, don't want to say anything obnoxious. Honestly, I think you are in a fairly neutral zone.
So according to you guys, I'm below average? In my daily lives, I saw lots of guys taller than me, less but still sizable girls taller than me, but I also saw lots of guys shorter than me, even more girls shorter than me. I'm 5'10'' by the way.
