Raleigh's Central Park - 308 acres, downtown

Freedom Park - 98 acres. 3 miles from uptown

Cheer up Charlatans, you still have graveyards in uptown. I don't know if you can spread out a pic nic blanket between the tombstones but you can try

I'd kinde be embarrassed to pay money to see a basketball team lose, being in the Triangle we wouldn't really know much about that

But what else are you going to do in Charlotte? Buy drugs and smack bedbugs? lol!

15 Reasons Why Charlotte Is The Weirdest

"The astounding lack of both character and culture in Charlotte"

"Everything Is Oddly Evangelical"

"If you're not religious, you'll feel pretty out of place amongst all the Elevation bumper-stickers."

"College basketball rules North Carolina, and even Michael Jordan has a hard time cheering for the Bobcats/Hornets/whatever of Buzz City"

"At one of the Bank of America buildings, these super creepy Occult Frescoes with images of the Apocalypse greet workers in the lobby. Truly no better (or weirder) way to start the morning than seeing "spinning naked bodies in a vortex of fire."

"The Streets Are Always Empty"

"Public Transportation Is Hilarious, does anyone actually use the light rail?

"Graveyards Are EVERYWHERE"

"Charlotte said basically said their barbecue was "just okay."?

My, what glowing accolades! When can I move there?!
