We are currently from Illinois. Hubby is an electrician. We are considering moving. We have always wanted to leave Illinois. Are there jobs there for hubby? He is not union here. Currently does new residential (mansions, normal sized homes) remodels, services, some commercial. What is the job market like for him? Is this a good area for kids? We have 3 kids- 4, 3, 8 months. I homeschool.

Hi again...

They are going to need more specifics here also. There are alot of people who are willing to help you find your perfect place, but they need a little more specific questions. When I pulled up electricians in NC there was a tremendous list. What part of the state are you interested in? I know from the TX forum that you want more of a suburban area, but in what part of NC? I have lived in both places and many others states, so I wonder from forum to forum to answer whatever questions I can. Alot of people are only familar with a specific area and will be more than happy to help you find what your looking for, if they know where to start. Let us know what areas of NC you are most interested in and we'll help you with your questions. Hope to hear from you soon.
