Have recently looked at real estate in the Pinewild Community of Pinehurst. Does anyone have any idea why there seems to be a lot of properties for sale there? Is it the annexation situation? Is it the amenities or golf courses? Any comments would be appreciated.
Right before the real estate slowdown mulitple builders built a lot (about 40) spec homes. The early ones sold quickly as people liked getting a new home without working for a year or more to get a custom one built. These houses have been sitting now for awhile, although in the last 2 months or so some builders have lowered the prices and sold their specs. As the specs were there, resales stalled, too. This is a wonderful community. Probably right now is a great time to get a bargain.
We're still looking. The golf course facility looks very nice
