Hell I got -5 without the windchill and I've been out shoveling snow and taking care of the critters all morning. Sun's shining, hardly any wind... Thinkin' a bonfire and a cold beer are in order after I get the firepit shoveled out

It's not minus 22 it's 1 degree. Wind chill is how it feels on bare skin do you often work outside naked?

I agree, it's an excellent day for a good fire in the pit and a cold beer.

Darn, That sounds good. I just spent an hour helping my oldest son get his car out of a snowy apartment driveway, in minus 22 windchil...Heck it was minus 35 earlier. My hubby is just getting over that flu, so I didn't want to send him. Almost bit it coming home, pure ice. I hate this weather. But, it is what it is. And for many, many years folks have been tending to farms, animals, vehicles, rigs, and anything else they have to take care of, simply because if they don't, no one else will. Makes some might hardy folks out of most people. So, like FyingCat2K says...Man up or stay elsewhere. Just be prepared, clothing, vehicle and know how to drive in snow....and pray when you hit ice.

I guess this is the OP's first experience with a warm winter day in ND. This has so far been the warmest winter I've seen since I been up here. Last was was nearly as Mild. this is only the 4th ND winter I faced. I guess the Texas weather followed me up here.

Wonderful weather. That's what keeps the crime so low. Not too many thugs on the streets huh?

Is it colder there in terms of climate than International Falls?
