That's OK, I'm sure a bail bonds place or a check cashing joint will take their place. Maybe the welfare office can open a branch there.

Two more stores are closing, four new ones have opened. A new restaurant is opening soon. It happens. Malls lose tenants and get new ones.

Why are you guys always so happy to see businesses in your city close their doors?

Just remember:

Less businesses = less mercantile tax revenues = higher residential property taxes to offset the loss.

The tax office isn't a store...

Look at this way, I am a band member on the Titanic just playing along as the ship sinks, knowing that there is nothing that can be done, but I will play on....

Saving downtown Scranton from a total economic failure is as likely as the Sea Sheppards actually finding someone with qualified seamanship skills and the ability to drive a boat.

We shopped in Aeropostle quite a bit; always looked like there was a good amount of foot traffic through the store. Don't remember Acaria at all.

It's sad; hopefully new stores will garner interest in that mall again. One can only hope.

I was going to attempt a comment here, but there is nothing I could say that will top this.

How exactly does that have anything to do with those two stores closing?
