Okay folks.......
Let's hear some ratings of the hospitals that you use/have used. There's always going to be a complaint about healthcare, but what about the specifics regarding experiences at your hospital?

I just got out of the hospital with my daughter who had to have an emergency appendectomy. We have a good local hospital here but
we had to take her to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia because she is
under 18. Fortunately, CHOP is considered the #1 pediatric hospital in the country. But, if we were up there, where would she have been sent to?
Just wondering where the better hospitals are. My friend has reported pretty good things about Pocono Mountain- but she's in Reeder's outside of Tannersville & Stroudsburg. What about in Wayne and Pike? Carbon?
Thanks.

She would have went to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville (also a leading pediatric hospital). I don't have a list in front of me but for the area you're talking about, Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg is probably by far the largest most advanced in the pocono region outside of Lehigh Valley, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, and northern New jersey area's which are larger metro area's.
