Remember something about "the olden days" in Nanticoke? Have some memorabilia gathering dust in the attic? Curious about what WAS here?

Bring your stories, artifacts, photos and questions, to the next meeting of the Nanticoke Historical Society, Thursday April 30th at 7:00 pm. This informal meeting will be a great opportunity to share and learn about Nanticoke's rich history. There is free admission, and it is open to everyone.

The Historical Society meets in the Mill House, located adjacent to the Mill Library, at 495 E. Main St., in Nanticoke. You can contact them at 258-1367, or visit : http://www.locallivinghistorypa.com/nanticoke/welcome.htm (broken link)

Anybody have any questions about The Historical Society, or their meetings, or events? Ask here, and I'll be happy to try and help out.

Anybody wanna talk about the State Theatre, or the ceiling from the old High School Auditorium? Coal mining questions?

JJRynk : Anna (Renkiewicz) Ciecierska

This is my family page which covers my GF JOHN RYNKIEWICZ/RENKIEWICZ and his brother ANTHONY RENKIEWICZ and a step brother called BOLESLAW MERCHELSKI. I have been doing my family genealogy 25+ years now and am in need of more information like the school my father and his brothers and sister attended which was Lincoln School. Any information appreciated. I am trying to locate old school records to show in fact that they did attend this school.

Thank you in advance and God Bless

John J. Rynkiewicz
