You're right. It's not. I know a lot of places that enforce a dress code. No sideways hats, no baggy pants, no flip flops. Some places want respectable people in their establishment and I tend to agree.

There is actually a bar in West Side on Main Ave. across from Wachovia bank called Legends that has a sign with a dress code outside of the bar before you walk in. I wish more restaurants would do this. I can't stand when people come into a nice restaurant wearing flip flops and baseball hats. They're not at a ball game or at a beach or a pool, so why can't they dress nice.

I saw that sign, I love it, they're definitely keeping out the riff-raff...the sign says something like no baggy pants, no sideways baseball hats, no white t-shirts.

Exactly. Like I said, restaurants should be putting up signs like that. It annoys when we people come into a nice place and are wearing attire that is for the beach or pool. Leave the flip flops on the beach or pool and the sideways hats for the ghetto or ballgame.

The flip-flops or sideways-tilted baseball caps don't bother me nearly as much as all of the 18-year-old males wearing their pants so low that you can see half of their boxer shorts sticking out (and sometimes MORE "sticking out!"). Is that supposed to be "attractive?"

Back off the flip flops Ed. There is nothing wrong with them.

Well technically wearing flip-flops too much is supposed to be dreadful for your feet, but I still like wearing them all weekend! My doggies need a break from their dress shoes every so often so they can breathe!

At the beach or pool they're fine, but why does everyone have to wear them to the mall or out to eat? Does everyone's feet stink and they have to air them out? LOL. I don't wear them because I think they look silly when they're not worn on the beach or a pool and because when you do wear them all day, your feet don't get proper arch support and they're uncomfortable.
