Hi all, I am looking at a townhome for rent in Centreville.. looking for a lifestyle change, tired of living in this shut off condo in Herndon finally seems I found a place similar to the place I had where I used to live with neighbors that are friendly have bbqs together and actually speak to each other unlike the place I am in now. I realize everyone is different but this place is not for me! So anyhow I found a place in Centreville; that I fell in love with! My question is it is a 2 bedroom 990 sq. foot townhouse (two stories) with a neat side yard and a great floorplan. Do you think $1300 is a reasonable rent for it? the people who own it are moving to Mexico for a job relocation and owe much more on the house than its worth so they are renting it out at less than the mortgage payment.. so talking them down isnt an option. So a two bedroom in Centreville worth $1300? Thanks!

$1300 is very reasonable for what you are describing. Of course, you might want to make sure the place is not trashed and that the owners are not going to lose the property shortly after you move in. Newgate is an excellent location... I'm sure you will like it here.
