Does anyone know if there's a bus that runs to the Vienna Metro (or another close by Orange Line Metro Stop) from Great Falls?

Alternatively, about much would a taxi fare be one way?

Thanks.

The closest WMATA and Fairfax Connector bus stops are on Route 7, so those won't help you much. Sorry I don't know how much a cab would cost!

Do a Google search on the various cab companies and use a fare estimator. As an example, I plugged in the address for Great Falls Park to the Vienna Metro and the estimate was $30 - $35 for that specific cab company.

Thanks all. So it sounds like I either figure out if I can get a lift to Route 7 and then take the bus or take a cab which may run about $35-40 with tip. I may be temporarily staying in Great Falls until I find my own housing, and I just am trying to evaluate my commute options.

Thanks!

It is kind of a shame that they do not have public transit getting you closer to the park. A big shame. I know Dun Loring is 7 miles away from the park, perhaps there is a way to get to the park from that station. Myself, I can take a T2 bus but from reason it gets only within 3.5 miles of the park. No clue, at all, why they can not have some kind of bus that gets within at least a half mile of the park. A true shame as this is one of the last things (in my three years here, which will end in June) that I wanted to see in the DC "metro" area (although I guess this would be outside the metro area as there is no public transit bringing you close to the park).
