Good lord, traffic was ridiculous tonight. I left McLean at rougly 5:50, I didn't get home until after 7. Traffic was backed up to the CIA from the ramp to GW. GW wasn't bad, hit some traffic at the bridges. HOV and 95 were a nightmare. I took HOV (motorcycle), I was on the brakes from the pentagon past glebe, sped up, but was stop and go from Springfield all the way to the Dale City exit - I was at a dead stop every other mile or so. Got off HOV, 95 is still a parking lot, took the dale city exit as it's mine anyway. Got down to Rt. 1 to cross - Rt. 1 is a parking lot at the intersection of Rippon - to the point of the intersection being blocked!

I leave Leesburg for work in DC at 4:15am and noticed the same thing this week. There are usually no other cars on the road (well, very few at least) and this week has been insane!
