Hasn't anyone gone to the grocery store or the Mall recently? Look at the people! Whites are a minority today and they were not up to just recently. There is a white flight from Fairfax County.

LOL you keep saying this but it doesn't sound like you're convincing anyone. I see responses from every corner of Fairfax County that don't support your comments. You're entitled to your opinion of course, but looks like most people don't agree.

As I went about my day yesterday, this thread was in the back of mind. I went out to Red Robin in Seven Corners last night and would you believe I saw mostly white people?
I know, I know. THE Seven Corners, the one with the mosque nearby, the Hispanic neighborhoods, Asian markets, yep. I SAW TONS OF WHITE PEOPLE. And thennnnnn I went to the Target, and wow, there were *gasp* more white people. They were everywhere, I couldn't get away. It was wild.
Though I can't say I've really been counting nor am I obsessed with it, BUT I've noticed there are
more white people around NoVA lately.

I stand by my previous assertion that it is more of an acceleration of other groups rather than a receding or "flight" of the majority group. As mentioned by other members, the differences may be more pronounced in some neighborhoods while being relatively unchanged in others. That said...

I know, I know. THE Seven Corners, the one with the mosque nearby, the Hispanic neighborhoods, Asian markets, yep. I SAW TONS OF WHITE PEOPLE. And thennnnnn I went to the Target, and wow, there were *gasp* more white people. They were everywhere, I couldn't get away. It was wild.
